About the Trek

The Annpurna base camp Trek begins in Taplejung and takes you through some of the most remote and pristine regions of Nepal. The trek is named after Mount Kanchenjunga, which stands at an elevation of 8,586 meters. Along the way, you'll pass through lush rhododendron forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages inhabited by the Limbu and Sherpa communities.

The trek is divided into two main routes: the North Base Camp and the South Base Camp. Both routes offer stunning views of the Kanchenjunga massif and other surrounding peaks. The North Base Camp is more challenging and less frequented, while the South Base Camp is relatively easier and more popular among trekkers.
